I picked one of these up while putting fuel in my pickup earlier and figured it warranted a review on here.
But first: There’s sound in every bottle! The dedicated song that accompanies this drink is “New Leaf”.
I picked this because I was in the mood for something different, it was on sale, and I though “screw it, it can’t be that bad...”
....In reality, it is that bad and there’s a reason it was on sale. First, despite the appearance of Healthy Shit (tm), one bottle has 34g of sugar. That compares to other drinks, such as a standard can of Monster @ 54g or Red Bull @ 28g.
The taste was not that bad actually. However, the texture was.... liquid with slimy
blobs of flavorless
sludge floating in it. I looked up a picture of
botulism and that’s basically what it was like:
So, I’m not certain if the blobs in the drink were chunks of aloe that were intentionally put there, or chunks of botulism that were there because the bottle was infected. There was so much sugar in it that I’m not sure you could tell a taste difference either way.
In summary, you should try one i
f you are looking for the worst possible texture for a drink, accompanied by both
the relaxing sounds of
some weird hippy shit music, as well as
the adrenaline
thrill of possibly experiencing
botulism side effects -
potential nerve damage, difficulty breathing, paralysis, and death. Talk about living on the edge! Through a $2 drink!

Ugh, energy drinks freak me out a bit. I’ve started just picking and choosing among the various Pre-workout powders and have had good luck using some of them as “everyday energy” (Optimum Nutrition Amino Energy is one)
Typically under 50 cents/serving if you buy them on sale, and a lot less indigestion than just pounding coffee. However, a lot of the pre-workout drinks are loaded up with stuff you don’t want, like beta alanine. Great if you’re hitting the gym...terrible if you’re on a long drive.
But almost all of them are VERY low on sugars because they often cater to people on keto or paleo diets.

PWO drinks are great, but dangerous.
I’ve used
NO-Xplode and it makes you feel
amazing though. Partly due to the risk of early heart / kidney failure, partly due to the 275 mg of caffeine in a dose. (a 16oz can of Monster is 180 mg).

Yeah, you definitely have to read the labels. ON Amino Energy is basically 120mg caffeine plus a handful of aminos, and it tastes good. I just treat it as a coffee substitute (that doesn’t make me have to run to the bathroom 5 minutes later!). Basically zero sugar, too. If you have a high tolerance, just add a third scoop.
The amount of people drinking cans of
BANG lately has been disturbing...

Wow you really don’t know what Aloe Vera is. If you really did your research. And looked at the ingredients. It says there is Aloe Vera Pulp in the ingredients. And there is natural sugar and Cane Sugar . Also it is 2 severing per a bottle.
